We got back last night from a weekend in Maryland with three new piglets in the back of the car. There was more than one reason to go down but getting the piglets was important. I had to laugh today as I was getting them settled. Standing ankle-deep in manure holding one squirming baby as it peed on me, I thought of Heather’s comment about romanticized farm life.
Harriet and Elisa spent the weekend pretty much attached at the hip to their cousin Belle and there was talk about having Belle move in with us for a year or Harriet and Elisa moving to Maryland. The separation anxiety is that great.
