B: You know how when you are skiing?- me: I’ve never been skiing. B: ok, well you know how you have to lean back when you water ski?- me: I’ve never been water skiing. B: oh ok (optimistically) well, you know how when you are skateboarding?- me: nope. B: well then, you know how when you are snow boarding?-

Well, now of course you know how it feels when you are snowboarding or sitting in the snow! (Which, to me, are overlapping endeavors).
